Course Overview
The Executive Certificate in General Insurance Claims is designed for insurance professionals with four or more years’ experience working in the insurance industry, who specialize or wish to specialize in claims.
Each unit aims to develop the technical, analytical and interpersonal skills and knowledge required to:
- Lead a claims team
- Effectively manage and settle insurance claims
- Provide quality insurance claims services to customers.
Insurance professionals can focus on specific areas they wish to develop by taking units as standalone short courses — or, if desired, units can be combined to attain the full Executive Certificate in General Insurance Claims.
Course Structure
To be awarded this certificate, students must complete 80 Credit Points:
- 40 from any Specialized General Insurance Claims unit (Compulsory units)
- 40 from any Specialized unit (Elective units)
