Course Overview
ANZIIF’s Foundation Certificate in Insurance is designed for insurance professionals who have just started their career in insurance. This includes school leavers, and anyone wishing to be provided with a good base understanding of the industry, and a solid foundation for future development.
Each unit aims to develop the technical, analytical and interpersonal skills and knowledge required to:
- Effectively provide support to a claims or underwriting team
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation
- Interact with the customer.
On completion, students will also have developed:
- Solid workplace relationship-building and communication skills
- A good understanding of the insurance industry and the relevant code of practice.
