Course level: Level 2 - Introductory
The ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering (Insurance) provides insurance professionals with practical, sector-specific knowledge of anti-money laundering and financial crime risks across life, general insurance, reinsurance and intermediary arrangements. The course develops understanding of relevant international and national regulatory requirements, while equipping participants to identify AML red flags in customer behaviour, payment patterns and third-party involvement, understand reporting and escalation obligations, and recognise the links between money laundering, sanctions and insurance fraud. It also reinforces the role of professionals across underwriting, claims, customer service and intermediary management in supporting an effective compliance culture.
