Course Overview
The Professional Certificate in Insurance is designed for insurance professionals with approximately two or more years’ experience working in the insurance industry.
Each unit aims to develop the technical, analytical and interpersonal skills and knowledge required to:
- effectively assist a claims or underwriting team
- prepare and maintain relevant documentation
- answer customer inquiries.
On completion, students will also have developed:
- solid workplace relationship-building and communication skills
- a greater understanding of the overall industry
- base level sector specialist knowledge
Insurance professionals can focus on specific areas they wish to develop by taking units as standalone short courses — or, if desired, units can be combined to attain the full Professional Certificate in Insurance.
Course Structure
To be awarded this certificate, students must complete 80 Credit Points:
- 80 from any Intermediate unit (Compulsory units)
